Jack, aside from the fact that you're terrific friend and great contributor to the fun we have here on the forum, you're also a pretty darn good writer as is evident in your first paragraph! I for one, would really like to read a good upland bird story written by you in Parker Pages. Why not give it some thought....?

I'll give it some thought. First thought is writing under pressure with expectations could lead to total writers block. Should that happen, Gentleman Jack and his Highland cousins may need to be consulted. Better yet, I might have to go hunting first to get inspired. We'll see.
