I saw an early J.P. Saur at Duluth last weekend. It was a straight stock and lavishly engraved in 12ga. I am not a 12ga guy but the new owner had just bought it on his way to the shoot at Cabela's for $1500 I'd have bought for that in a heart beat, it was a solid and gorgeous gun. The French as well as the Belgium's made some very nice firearms as well.
