When looking at prices up through the first decade or so of the 20th Century one has to be careful of the high List Prices in a lot of the retail catalogs and look for the Net Price that the guns actually sold for. A.H. Fox Gun Co. stopped messing around and began putting the Net Price in the catalogs in the 1910/11 time frame. Ithaca was still doing the high List Price in their catalogs up to at least 1918.
