Default Latest Acquisition

So yesterday Sammy says, "I've been a bad wife. I didn't get you anything good for Christmas and your birthday. Would you like a gun?" After mulling it over and finally deciding, "I suppose. If I have to have another."
She asked which gun? I said "Poulin has a Mini Gun in the next auction." She nixed that one. I says "I had a Parker offered to me that I'd really like. One of about 135 made." So here it is....

Parker VH made in November 1922. 12g, straight grip, double-triggers, 1 3/8" x 2" x 14 1/2", 8 lb 4 oz, 34", IM/F!! Long legged with chokes from the Men's Department!! The IM choke could be considered LF as it's .028. But no splitting hairs here, it could be IM or LF.

Not for this one. Dimensions are just about spot on.

What's wrong with the 34" A1 Special in the Guyette auction? "You only live once." or, if you prefer, "It's only money." or "Just write the check."

Nothing wrong with the A1 Special. They don't shoot any better than a lower grade. I have no desire to have a high grade such as that. I shoot my guns and don't need to worry about something happening to them on the range or field. I would prefer the class III items in the upcoming Poulin auction. The Mini Gun would be the ultimate chuck-gun!!
