Default The A1 Special Single Trap Sold Today

The A1 Special single trap sold about ten minutes ago. If my math is correct, the gun sold for $26,550.00, an absolute bargain, in my opinion. I hope someone here got it. An A1 Special single barrel is quite a gun, one that could add a target or two to your average. I thought that maybe it would stall at nine grand, but it didn't happen. OK, who got it?

Do you that looked at it think it was real? From Murphy's post it appears he does. I looked at it and was not convinced.

Looks real to me. My hat is off to whoever bought this beauty.

Serial number is in the book. It is listed as a straight grip. In the description it states a repaired crack around the pistol grip. It was converted to pistol grip. This explains the gold serial number.
Although refinished, it is a nice gun.

I was thinking it was only a couple . But in the auction listing they said “only 79 made” , might of been 69 but anyway I’m curiouse what they’re referring to in that large a number ?
