I PM'd Randy saying I'd love to see nothing but 16's. Also, would love to see nothing but HAMMERS if that hadn't been done.

Maybe that is why it came to mind. No need to repeat a theme I suppose.

They have been repeated before and will be again in the future Reggie. Always walking a thin line looking for a good theme that is interesting and still open enough to be inviting to a large group of folks. Thanks for your input.

How about guns owned and used by famous or notable shooters… not simply “ordered by Du Bray” or something like that.

What about guns that have original atypical for their grade features. Like a DH or higher gun with a special ordered dogs head buttplate. Or a VH with additional engraving embellishments that are original. Or like that GH that we saw recently with the large teigger plate engraving. You get the point.

I have developed a soft spot/or sickness for composite barrels.

I don't know how that could be put into a theme..... but.... maybe

The 28 thread started by Mr. Gordon has me interested in an all 28 theme. There are a limited number of 28s but many folks can participate. Not a real "rare" bird but definitely an uncommon gauge. I do like a lot of the other suggestions too.

How about composite barrels with ejectors? Is there anything better?
