Default 16 gauge paper hulls

If you have been looking for 16 gauge paper hulls, ballistic products finally has some in stock. I know I personally have been looking for a long time.

Myself! Finally some came in and I got hands on 1K of them, outta last me several years. There's just something about paper hulls...... Apparently they only run them once a year or so, read this somewhere pretty recently. 12s have been available off and on, 20s too, but these are the first 16s I've seen in a long, long time.

They do not have the same “aroma therapy” as Federals loaded with Red and/or Clay Dot but are still nice when BP has them.

Anybody know why the paper 16s come in 65mm as well as 67mm? Seems 20s are in 67mm only at BP.

I'll hazard a guess and suggest maybe one was intended to be roll crimped (Still common in Europe) and the other star folded crimp.

If I was loading 7/8 oz. in my 2 1/2" hulls (I am), and I wanted to go to 1 ounce, using the same wad, I think I would like those 67mm hulls.

Mike, as always, you are the fountain of information I count on! I'll contact my inside guy at the CIA for the secret!
