Thumbs up Timberluxe:
This DHE stock was needing some help, the tiny bottle of Timberluxe was delivered and fixed her up nicely. Good lighting, some 2500 grit and my finger brought out the hidden beauty. A bit of overrun, still need to clean out the checking. That ancient Mershon pad couldn’t get any harder. I have a solid “Noshoc” that I may replace it with.
Anyhow, a big shout out for Timberluxe.

I wonder if anyone here knows what ingredients make up Timberline finish. The results with it sure looks a lot like results that can be obtained with a 50/50 mixture of Marine Spar Varnish and pure Tung Oil.

Stan, you should contact Brian Board (maker and sole distributor of TimberLuxe). He’s a super nice guy and is fun to talk with. He may even divulge his ingredients

That’s a beautiful piece of American black walnut Bruce. It looks like one of Remington’s DHE’s.
