Default 410 RBL

I wanted to share a 410 RBL from CSMC I ordered over the summer and have been enjoying this fall. It was a great experience and it was fun to get just what I wanted. I ordered it with 30” M/F barrels 3” chambers, ejectors, splinter forend, double triggers and straight stock to my dimensions.

The gun did wonderful shooting sporting clays and often shot better that you would think a 410 should do. I have been hitting targets way out there with it. I took it to a preserve hunt a few weeks ago and enjoyed it there as well and got every bird I shot at. It’s a pleasure to carry in the field at just under 5lbs.

When I first though about getting a modern 410 sxs, I looked at a few imported options and decided to pay more for something made in the US. So glad I did, this will be a go to gun for years to come and I got it with everything I wanted.

That's a nice one Jay. People are always amazed at what a 28 or .410 can do.

I think shooting a 30" 28ga. VH this past May gave me some inspiration!

And your right, it might take me a few tries, but I can usually figure out most targets with a 410 or 28.

The 30" barrels make all the difference.

Congratulations on your beautiful RBL.

When the RBL-410 was first announced I handed Lou my credit card at the January 2012 Las Vegas Beinfeld Show. I also got double triggers, slim forearm and straight grip stock but they were only offering 28-inch barrels at that time.

Even though it weighs about 3/4 of a pound less than my other .410-bore doubles, because of the tiny frame it has much less weight between the hands and is much easier to shoot. Perhaps the beavertail would have given a bit more weight forward, but I much prefer the slim forearm for looks.

Jay , That is an Exceptional Gun !!!!! Congratulations !!!!! I know when I owned the Runge / DelGrego BHE 410 Upgrade Gun , I would often shoot Preserve Birds over Pointing Dogs and it flattened them ! There are scoffers but if choked right they really shoot !
