Good for you! Love the 16s myself. A good solid VH in 16 with 28" barrels can go nearly anywhere and do anything well. Chokes?

Good for your Allen. I was happy to get a VH 16 1908 gun at the Northeast SxS and paid a bit more than that. All original, 28" F&F. I will open the chokes a bit for birds, full tapered of course.

I had an impulse buy at Hausmanns also a 16. GH marked as a "salesman's sample" Three different Damascus patterns 28 inch barrels IC/M. It might make the trip to Georgia in January
It happened at the Southern as well. Another GH but a 32 inch 20
