My Parker letter

I have a Parker letter on a Hammergun of mine that lists the
order being place by "Hodgkins and Hargh" New York City in 1884.
I have found nothing on them. I suspect they may have been a hardware store,
Has anyone seen or heard anything about this name?

Should probably be Hodgkins & Haigh... 300 BROADWAY, NY. Importers and dealers in GUNS RIFLES & PISTOLS, GUN MATERIAL & SPORTING APPARATUS... Follow the Gunbroker link below, shows a bill head from 1883, around the same time your Parker was there... Hope this helps...
