Default New Rock Mtn. event -- Many shots missed!

I had a day at the Rock where I wondered if I had shot in my reloads. It was inspireing!!!!!!!

A shot or three well missed………
Author – Chief Many Shots Missed

Twasn’t the bow or the arrow,
They were both finely made.
But the Chief clearly missed while at his favorite glade!
Blame it on the sun in his eyes, the strong breeze blowing nighly, or the last words from his squaw as he saddled his horse…..
But he knew in his heart it was just him, of coarse!

Anybody who says they never had a day like that is a liar. I've had days where I blamed it on wearing the wrong shoes, the pallet they used to make a crappy station was rocking, it's too cold for the powder, and, yes, the sun was in my eyes. The thing that makes us all go 'WTF'?

Ah, we’ve all been there. Billy Shakespeare couldn’t have said it any better

So how about sharing it with the rest of us who were unable to attend and/or participate? Description, layout, target regimen & etc. ??

I’m pretty sure I shot that round with you and very much enjoyed your company. As Mr Hall and I have discussed many times, “We’re here to enjoy our time with dear friends that we don’t see nearly enough.” At least that’s our story and we’re sticking to it.

Would have been great if it was only one event, but the entire day was a waste of shot and powder!!!!!

That used to bother me , but anymore I’m happy if I’m able to stand shoot and hit or miss whatever the case may be .

You had one of those days when we used to say “I couldn’t hit a bull in the ass with a snow shovel if I was standing next to it.”
