Default 1898 Parker Bros need any info

Can anyone tell me anymore information then what I have found. I don't believe its the original stock & looks re-blued. 1898 12ga DH, grade 3, Titanic Steel 30" barrels, weight 4/7, frame size 2.

This stock came with it, but it's to small for the 12ga. and not sure if it's a real Parker Bros. stock.

Thanks, Sam

The stock that is on the gun is not original. The separate stock shown is a true Parker Bros. stock made for a VH. Looks like the last digit is a "5" on the trigger guard channel. It doesn't match the last digit on the water table. Tell me the S/N that's in the stock channel and I may be able to tell you what it came off of.

Are you sure of the number? The 0 (zero) in the stock channel is the grade of the gun, not it's frame size. Can you provide a close up, in focus picture?

$300 is a bit steep for a stock that has the front inletting altered. Ithaca sunburst pad is nice.

Looks like 269495 but I don't think they made that many guns.
