Default 20g spreader load please

I don't have a 20g SPREADER load, either 2.5 or 2.75" is fine. Powders I have on hand in abundance are Unique, Longshot, E3, Green Dot and Perfect Pattern. I will get what's needed. I have 2.5" RST hulls and a gajillion 2.75" Gun Clubs. Any help appreciated. It's for an aYa No 1 so doesn't need to be low pressure but it sure is nice shooting a soft 2.5" load in it. Thanks in advance. It's choked .22/.26 so she's tight and I'm not opening her up.

Andy I have had great luck with brush wads and they are easy to load. They have made my 30" 20ga. VH choked F/F very versatile. I use them in 28ga as well.

I keep everything else the same. I am getting my components from Ballistic Products.

Thank you Jay. I didn't even think of that and I know I have some from BP.

Years ago Andy, I wrote a letter to Tom Roster asking the same question. His reply was to cut the petals off the wad and allow the shot to scrub the barrels. Use the softest shot you can find. It worked as well as the spreader wads which appeared later. I remember having to place a 20ga thin fiber wad on the shotcup to make up for the wad petals to get a good crimp.
