Default Robert Rambler has Passed

Read on L.C.Smith forum, Robert Rambler passed shortly after attending the L.C.Smith shoot at Carlisle, PA. He was a PGCA member, shot over some wonderful poodles, and attended many side by side events. He lived in Manheim, PA.

Very sorry to hear this. Robert was always kind and friendly at all the shows. May he rest in peace. He will be missed in our community.

I am stunned by this. Robert was a kind, gentle spoken man. He and his wife always made time to stop by my table at Baltimore for a chat. This is such sad news.

This is terrible news. Robert and I go way back in our trapshooting days and we reconnected when we met again shooting sporting clays. I just saw him at the Smith shoot in Carlisle. Wish I would have talked more with him.

Condolences to Sandy and Shawn and the rest of his family.

RIP Robert

And again we are diminished by the passing of another kindred soul.

Rest In Peace Robert - You will be missed.

What a gentleman he was.

It is sad to hear. I had done some work for him in years past and always enjoyed seeing him at the NE SxS.

I never met him, but as Dean said: The loss of one diminishes us all.

I did not know Bob all that well, but we said "Hi" before joining our squads on the Sporting Clays course on Saturday morning. Little did we know what the day would bring.

Most if not all of the participants were finished on the course and were gathering under the pavilion for lunch when we heard approaching emergency vehicles.

Bob finished the morning doing what he enjoyed, he will be missed!!

Prayers for his Family

I was actually on the clays course when Bob's son called to give me the devastating news. I was fortunate to talk to him at Pastor Charlie's shoot and asked him how retirement was going and his response was that he never realized how quickly time past. Kind of prophetic and sobering. RIP Bob.
