Can anyone tell me if Serial #104704 is listed in the parker records, and if so,what year is the gun, and what information could I get on the gun? Thanks, Steve

104704 is not in the serialization book. That number falls in the range of serial numbers where only the Graded Parker ser. nos. were recorded by those who were transcribing the original Parker Bros. books. It was made in 1901. Show us some pictures and we'll tell you what grade it is.

Stephen, Sorry the "Book" lists 104700 and then 104710. But they are both D grade 20 gauges with 28" barrels. One is a straight grip and one is a capped pistol grip.

Thanks for the response. I am traveling on business and cannot post the pics from the seller from this computer, but it is a VH 16 ga 0 frame 26" gun with a pistol grip stock, not capped.

Sounds like the perfect Parker for New Hampshire - what are the chokes?

Chokes are IC/Mod. I need to get some better pics from the seller. I know the stock has been "cleaned up, very well done" ie: refinished in some fashon, but the barrels look to be good. As I said, I need better pics of the receiver area and such. At this point just looking, but we will see.
