Getting back to my 12 gauge Parker BHE. The case colours are nearly gone and the blueing (or should we call it blacking) is fading. I'm tempted to get both done as we have excellent expertise right here in Canada. A friend just had his Ithaca 5E SBT done and the transformation is incredible.
On the negative side this work impacts the originality of the gun. But, seeing that the stock and forend have been re-finished and that it has been re-barreled the originality has already been comprimised.
