I own (am current caretaker of…) Rear Admiral Thomas Perry’s DH twenty gauge, 28 inch, Damascus barreled Parker.
Perry was the commander of the US Naval fleet in the Caribbean during the construction of the Panama Canal around 1912.
It is a wonderful little gun that has taken grouse and woodcock for me. If it weren’t for a previous ‘caretaker’ shortening the stock it would still have the SSBP… instead of the beautiful leather-covered pad I had done by Abe Chaber.
