A week ago i took my 12 yr old grandson, Logan, to the club to learn gun safety and shoot some skeet. I explained to Logan that the one thing I wanted him to learn today was how to handle the shotgun safely, that it didnt matter today if he hit any clays or not, that the first step in gun handling is safety. The rest will come. He had his choice of a 20 ga Trojan and a single barrel 410 springfield that my father gave me when i was 12. He chose the 410. Well to make a long story short, he handled the gun superbly in all respects and managed to break 2 birds. Papa was thrilled and another young lad appears to have joined the shooting community. I was and my friends who were shooting with us were so proud of logan.
