OK, I was able to procure an Ithaca 12g 30" for the "right price" this weekend. When I looked up the serial # (234xxx), it came up as a Lefever Nitro Special from 1927. The gun has no Lefever markings but has the Ithaca Gun Co, Ithaca NY on the receiver. Did Ithaca make the Lefever Nitro Special with Ithaca Gun Co markings?
