Parker SBT A1S
5 Attachment(s)
Here are some pictures of the rare SBT A1S I’ll add more soon, barrel is 32 inch modified choke, was shortened from 34 inch’s. Monty Carlo stock has been changed from original by pad replacement @ 14 1/4 inch from barrel. It would be worth $100,000 to $ 150,000 if was still original. But with that is worth up to $100,000.00 with changes. I am thinking about taking it to auction with guyette & deeter in February 27 I have letter from Parker We believe All changes were done by Parker or very professional done by engraving around barrel and modified choke percussion.

I seem to have messed up with poll and cannot figure how to correct it. thanks Ken

I don’t think A1S has ever sold anywhere near 100 K. Double bbls could go for those prices. If you gun has been altered then that will significantly lower the collector value. You should talk to Josh Loewensteiner and he will grave you a realistic appraisal.

An SA1S is going to go for between $40,000 and $50,000. It’s a single barrel trap gun so no matter how high the condition or grade, there is a very limited pool of interested players. An A1S, side by side, of like condition will always command a much higher price. You cannot compare the two. Apples and oranges. In this instance, an SAA may be worth more than an SA1S because they are even rarer. We don’t know because I’m not sure anyone has even seen a SAA in recent memory, much less sold one.

I did take it to a sporting good store and he said it was worht 90 thousand, he looked it up in a book matching up the numbers on the water table he might have been looking atg a double but I saw a double A1S that sold for 214 thousand. I brought it to "The Shootist" a firearms dealer in the historic town of Murrieta CA. He had a hands on look at it and said todays market has a lot more investors looking for tangable assets after the long run with the stock market. he said confidently that he feels it can sell for 60 to 80 thousand. sure there are some factors like a 25% commission or fifty % to just out right buy it. I understand the numbers but you are the buyers.

We will look for your SA1 in the Guyette February auction. It should be the star of the show. It will probably be pictured on the catalog cover.

Kenneth, you could list the gun on gunbroker to determine its value. Put a $90,000.00 reserve on it and start the bidding at a penny. That will give you some idea of how much interest there is and what that interest is willing to pay for it. By the way, welcome to the Parker Gun Collectors Association.
