A Passion For Grouse - Edited by Thomas Pero
Good morning:
Is this book worth pursuing? Is it new material or a compilation of previous works and stories? Since I retired, I thinned out my library of military related small arms books to make room for more shotgun and upland/waterfowl/breed history works. Thanks in advance for any input. |
It's a kind of coffee table book, but it does have some new writings in it. It's a substantial book.
|
If NOTHING else it does a few things:
Let's people coming to your house know that you're an odd duck for having a passion for grouse It will firmly anchor your little coffee table to the floor It has many wonderful photographs It won't fill the void of sitting in front of a fire with GBE, Spiller or de la Valdene, as it's substantial and hard to handle but it's well worth it in my eyes and a beautiful thing to have. |
VERY Well stated Andy!
