Gun insurance (Chubb vs. Hanover)?

I have my gun insurance through Eastern Insurance (agent). It's with Chubb. I just got a letter from Eastern stating that they now offer essentiallythe same coverage through a different company (Hanover).

The Hanover policy would be 26% cheaper than the Chubb policy (including a 5% NRA discount).

I'm awaiting the policy details, but in the meantime, do any of you have either of these policies ????

Please comment.

Thanks !

John

I have the Eastern Insurance-Hanover policy. Hanover is a 160 year old company with a reputation equal to Chubb with respect to covering articles of historical value and claims processing. Both companies offer the "all risks coverage away from premises for shooting and sporting". I have been happy with the service but have never filed a claim. Eastern Insurance is located in Mass. which has a highly regulation insurance industry.
