An Interesting DelGrego Letter
1 Attachment(s)
Being the custodian of a great deal of Austin Hogan’s communications, graphs and studies of bores, chambers and chokes, among so many other things, I came across this letter today and thought I should share it.

Is that articles in the archives Dean, I'd like to read it. Thanks for sharing.

Kind of a random post. Perhaps you would include the reference PP article for context?
|
The first issue in 2008 (the Del Grego letter is dated March) had an article "An Invincible Grade Parker in 16 Gauge" but the Parker Pages Index does not list the author.

I found that a pita when trying to find articles authored by him. I suggested he indicate himself in a by-line but he was too modest. . |

As Dean mentions, Austin's byline did not appear in many of his articles. When completing the article about the "Gold Hearts Gun", the final draft did not include his name. I emailed him (copy retained) to ask him to add his name along with mine and Mark Conrad's. As I recall, Austin did not do as I asked, the the article did not include his name.

Having those old issues on line is the cat's ass

The graphics are not of the same quality but that prevents copying them.
JD is always on top of it. We’re darn lucky to have him! . |
