Ditto Dean! I've handled that gun a couple of times and Dean's description is spot on.

It felt perfect in the hand, I feel fortunate to have been able to follow the imaginary rising pigeon with those 34" barrels!

Might play a bit at the 16 yard line . But if it were in my possession it most likely would get a few turns at boxbirds be it pigeons or quail .

"Winchester" needs a new screen name. :eek:

If Winchester would send the serial number, I'd look up and see how the grip was ordered. Just sayin'.

Mike, the letter was posted on the auction site, no mention of the grip.

If one knew that gun was in the last G&D auction, one wouldn’t have asked about the SN. Just sayin’
