Hausmann’s NE SxS 2026

Hi all,

Can anyone confirm the 2026 dates for Hausmann’s? I’m assuming June 4-6?

My work will be restricting time off for May/June next year, so I’m trying to give my boss an idea of when I’d like to be off.

Thanks!
Sara

Daryl Corona 11-12-2025 05:21 PM

It's always been the first weekend of June and I don't see that changing. You could give Ernie a call to verify.

Mike Koneski 11-12-2025 07:45 PM

I am 99.99% sure it’s June 4-6

Bill Murphy 11-13-2025 03:57 PM

June 5-7 according to Ernie's website. Search hiddenhollowsportingclays.

Mike Koneski 11-13-2025 04:35 PM

June 5-7 was the 2025 shoot. The first Thursday through Saturday in June of 2026 is the 4-6

Bill Murphy 11-14-2025 12:51 AM

Sorry, I forgot what year it is and Ernie forgot to update his website. Sorry for my error.

It's OK Bill, we'll forgive you THIS time, but don't let it happen again!! :rotf:

What are our favorite hotels or other places to stay now that the Comfort Inn in Vestal is gone? I have always liked Vestal because of the pleasant drive to Ernie's every morning. The golf course restaurant is on the way back to Vestal after a day of shooting and shopping.

Mike Koneski 11-15-2025 11:01 AM

More shooters are now either using AirBNB or VRBO. Some are now staying in Tunkhannock hotels instead of Vestal too.

Ernie mailed those postcards out a few months ago.

Sarah, I hope you can get Pete to upgrade to a Hawaiian shirt for Friday. You can do it! Use your feminine wiles.

I am going to continue to remain cautious. I think Hawaiian shirts could be gateway clothing. It starts with just a colorful shirt and before you know it you find yourself on a squad of guys wearing grass skirts. :rotf:

Mike Koneski 02-14-2026 08:10 AM

:rotf::rotf: I guess grass skirts would be alright, they can be considered South Pacific kilts. Just don’t wear socks and shoes, that would be wrong!!

Daryl Corona 02-14-2026 08:18 AM

So what's wrong with wearing grass skirts, Hawaiian shirts (and sock and sandles if you must)? It means you could be somewhere in the south Pacific and never have to see snow again.:)

Mike Koneski 02-14-2026 08:25 AM

Never seeing snow again would be awesome! But Daryl, shoes and socks? A grass skirt needs bare feet or sandals. Wearing shorts and socks higher than you ankles is bad enough and truly a fashion faux-pas, but socks with a grass skirt!! The horror! The horror!!

Daryl Corona 02-14-2026 08:51 AM

At our age they would be compression socks.

Dude don’t say that , my paternal grandfather said something along those lines one winter and he didn’t live long enough to see snow the next winter .

At this point if that's what it takes to not see snow or a winter like this again at least he got his wish.

allen newell 02-14-2026 04:24 PM

If I never see snow again I'll be eternally happy.

Sara LeFever 05-09-2026 07:16 PM

Is it too early to start a roll call for Hausmann’s? I’m looking forward to it, and hopefully better weather! Pete and I will be there (with cookies) on Thursday afternoon, and staying for the duration.

Andrew Sacco 05-09-2026 07:42 PM

I can only shoot Thursday have folks in from Italy on Saturday but I plan to shoot my face of Thursday. Working Friday grrrrrr....

Austin J Hawthorne Jr. 05-09-2026 08:31 PM

My son and I will be there, and maybe my daughter-in-law.

[QUOTE=Daryl Corona;444182]So what's wrong with wearing grass skirts,
Because of the wind that's why:shock:

Daryl Corona 05-09-2026 11:32 PM

Scott,

I had a dream about Mike in a grass skirt and haven't been the same since.:bigbye:

Clark McCombe 05-10-2026 07:31 AM

No moss gathering on my Parkers.
Peacedale today.
Vintagers at Bristol CT next Saturday.
And Hausmann’s June 4.
It’s a great spring for road trips !

Sorry Daryl but I have to post this. It was a little chilly the other day but here's Mike getting in some early practice for Hausmann's :rotf:
.

Clark McCombe 05-10-2026 07:49 AM

This could be the gateway to something more serious….
When I grew up we had a drag strip in the next town over….
I’m afraid to ask what an 8ga drag might be today

Bill J and I will be driving down Thursday morning and staying until over on Saturday.

Now Frank if you can scrape up enough grass skirts for you , Corona and Chuckles Bishop the three of you and Koneski can be a “Hula Boys Quartet”:rotf:

Thanks Frank, actually not as bad as I envisioned. As long as he wears his tighty whiteys.:nono:

Daryl Corona 05-10-2026 11:55 AM

I have to take this opportunity to remind everyone that as the Southern is about the Parker/Smith challenge, Ernie Hausmann's is about the BoWhoop events and the Fox shotgun brought to you by the AHFCA and administered by yours truly.

There will Fox shotguns there for anyone to try and see for themselves why we love them as you love your favorite vintage gun. There will be shotguns from 28-32" and in 12,16 and 20gauges.

At least stop by and say hello.

Sara LeFever 05-10-2026 12:34 PM

It will also be the 17th Annual “Uncle Dan” Lefever Cup AND the 10th Annual Fox-Lefever Challenge! So, get those Lefevers ready too!

Daryl Corona 05-10-2026 12:40 PM

Looking forward to seeing you and Pete.

I'll be tuned up with my 12g Lefever and ready for Team Lefever to win the Fox-Lefever this year!! I am on a hiatus from the Uncle Dan Cup. Maybe Ken can win this year?? Or, Sara can step up and grind them! BUT, she has to do it in a Hawaiian shirt and grass skirt. Style points.

I have another and spectacular image of Mike decked out in full Hawaiian regalia and holding a Parker but I’m saving it for his Northern SxS shoot in July, or maybe for the cover of the Parker Pages. :)

Daryl Corona 05-10-2026 03:57 PM

We just can't get enough of Mike. Save it for PP.
