New Home Page Picture

Mr. Dunkle Sir - it's great to see that picture of your great grandmother. Please tell us what you can about her.
Was she the wife of your great grandfather, the famous trapshooter?

Do we know anything about the gun?

Matthew Hanson 06-03-2016 11:25 AM

I really like the new picture! I am such a stickler for vintage hunting and vintage grouse hunting. Hit me right in the heart! Love it!

Great to see a woman sportsman(woman) of that era!

Hi Dean and all,

My thanks - and yes, that is, indeed, my Great-Grandmother - Anne Dana Osborn, wife of George Leland Osborn, who was a registered trap shooter.

Anyway - she's probably horrified to be posted on the opening page of a website - and I'm certain she'll have a few things to say when we meet "over the horizon" someday... ;)

I would like to see the new cover. For some reason I still have last months pic. I tryed to refresh it using F5 but it didn't work. Any idea's.

Rick Losey 06-04-2016 09:21 PM

if F5 doesn't work

depending on your browser - there should be another method to refresh - often a curved arrow

the only other thing I can think of - assuming you are on a PC/Laptop - is to go to the internet options in the control panel and select everything and click on delete

you will need to log into the site again after that ( and any others you normally have set to remember you)

It seems to have corrected itself. Guess I just wasn't patient enough.
