Spring Parker Pages 2014

Usually I'm one of the last to get my issue of the Parker Pages. Not this time.

All I can say is WOW! We all owe a debt of gratitude to the late Austin Hogan and our current editor Dean Romig for producing such a fine quarterly magazine. I've only perused the magazine but within a few pages, it's evident that this is the best one yet.

Those of you who are just Forum Associates are missing out on just one of the great benefits of being a PGCA member.

Thanks to Dean and those who submitted stories.

Got mine today as well. I was hoping that when my spring issue came, it would also bring some spring weather with it too. Not the case...

wayne goerres 02-24-2014 06:28 PM

I just got the winter issue two weeks ago. Wonder how long I will have to wait this time.

Dave Suponski 02-24-2014 06:30 PM

Our copies arrived today also. Awesome!

wayne goerres 02-24-2014 06:34 PM

Now I feel silly. I just checked the mail and mine is here also. Well done Mary.

Dean Romig 02-24-2014 07:07 PM

A humble bow and a grateful "Thank You".

This is all great news. They were only mailed from Michigan on Friday Feb. 21.

Mills Morrison 02-24-2014 07:52 PM

Well done Dean! Each issue gets better and better.

Daryl Corona 02-24-2014 08:20 PM

Whatever we are paying you Dean, it's not enough.

Harold Lee Pickens 02-24-2014 10:01 PM

Got mine today also. Played tennis until 9:00, now time to sit down with a little bourbon and finish it tonight. RGS magazine came today also, might get to it also.

Jim DiSpagno 02-24-2014 10:28 PM

Mine arrived also. Great read and MANY, MANY THANKS toDean and all others for their great work and diligence.

Thank you, Dean, for another great issue. For the first time, I couldn't pick the two or three articles that deserve credit above others. If I had to say "Thank you" to someone special, it would be to Carl Beers for creating the Parker article compilation of Double Gun Journal articles.

Dean Romig 02-25-2014 09:42 AM

Carl's contribution is definitely a valuable resource. And he has offered to email it to anyone wishing a live file they can add to as more Parker related articles appear in DGJ.

Just great! Here I am looking to receive a research letter from Chuck and you go and give him a great edition of PP to distract him. I checked the mailbox and instead of the letter I found I had received my copy of PP at the same time. Good thing I have something to distract me also until the letter arrives.
Thanks for the great work from all the contributors and editors.
Erick

I've never read the Parker Pages so quickly. Fantastic job Dean. This one was a real gem, as are each and every one. My only problem is I read it too fast. Now what am I going to do?

Dean Romig 02-27-2014 03:39 PM
