Edgar and Craig;
Just in case and God forbid please send me your widows contact info. so I may avoid the rush. I promise Edgar, I won't shoot the VH.

Nice find Dean. I'm looking for a 16ga hammergun myself. I hope you bring it to Hausmanns.

I'll definitely bring it to Ernie's. It's not for the long shots but should be murder on the closer fast-flushers.

My last Parker was about the last Parker lifter, Austin Hogan's great P Grade 32" #3 frame 12. It is the only lifter I've seen with the P Grade stamp. It weighs just under nine pounds and is a great competition gun. I had been chasing that gun since before Austin owned it. He would not sell it to me but I was satisfied to know where it was.

I think my last one was my 28" CHE damascus 12ga.

Old beat up VH purchased for a sum of 200 dollars. The only real draw back I see so far other than the amount of wear is a non matching fore arm. I doubt I will be able to find the original.

The last Parker, and one I have yet to see, is a PH hammerless, 12 gauge. Twist steel barrels with a length of 30 inches. The serial number is 93700 and it was shipped in 1900. I purchased the gun on GB the beginning of April and had it sent to my brother's house in Colorado. He has shot it and says it shoots great and fits him well. He also says the bores are spotless. As we are twins if a gun fits him it will also fit me as well. I am looking forward to shooting it this Fall.

Great thread, Charlie

Dennis
