Tom Garver is bringing bologna and cheese for apps and potato salad at dinner.
We need condiments.
Ketchup, mustard, steak sauce, mayo, BBQ sauce or any other toppings.

Donald McQuade 07-10-2026 06:46 AM

Mike, I will bring the condiments. If anyone has any special request, please post here and I will bring it.

Mike Koneski 07-10-2026 07:57 AM

Thanks Don.

Clark McCombe 07-10-2026 11:37 AM

My son Lane will be there with desert.
Now I have to get him to shoot a Parker :)

I said minimum. Most folks wouldn't like my level of hot sauce heat. Can you say Carolina Reaper?

That'll do.

Mike Koneski 07-11-2026 09:39 PM

I think I’m going to do two different styles of quail this year. We’ll have the dry rub/bacon wrapped/ Traeger smoked quail but I will also make my Greek style quail. That is seared in oil then cooked in a thick sauce chock full of onions. Y’all will like it.

Donald McQuade 07-17-2026 12:30 PM

OK Darryl and Mike, the gauntlet has been thrown down and I think I have the response. I will be bringing a selection of Sauses for you connoisseurs to sample, including a ghost pepper sauce and something called Scorpion with a Scoville rating of 2 million. Mike, please ensure there are appropriate fixings to sample these sauces with, and then let the fun begin.

Mike Koneski 07-17-2026 01:06 PM

Don, I love you man!!!

Andrew Sacco 07-17-2026 01:16 PM

Shooting Thursday and Saturday, have to see Gomers Friday in the office, what time does the feed start? I will run down just for that now is there anything else anyone is needing as far as food, drinks, sides???

Randy G Roberts 07-17-2026 03:31 PM

I reckon I'll bring my own Franks. If it has scorpions or skulls on the bottle I am out. :nono:

Glad your described the "Greek stye Quail". I was envisioning something like loin cloths, olive oil and wrestling:)

Ed Blake 07-17-2026 08:59 PM

I have some nice Mexican lettuce to go with the hot sauce

By Mexican lettuce you mean the stuff you eat or the stuff you roll up and smoke :rotf::rotf::rotf:

Ed Blake 07-18-2026 09:24 AM

I guess you could smoke it

Mike Koneski 07-18-2026 12:26 PM

Yeah, what Ed said.

Dessert update- we did 5 spicey pecan pies (my mother-in-law's recipe), which yields 40 slices. Also bringing RediWhip, plates and forks, plus 6 dozen heath toffee bits cookies (just in case). Have cut pies into individual slices for ease of serving. Reloaders will note different types of pie crust crimping in the posted photo LOL.

Mike Koneski 07-24-2026 07:46 AM

I snuck a piece last evening. Thems gooo-oood there Clarke!

CraigThompson 07-24-2026 07:32 PM

It’s 19:31 Friday and I’m severely over full nuff said 👍🏻
