I heard from a well known dealer that a famous Parker repair/restoration shop offered to stamp his GHE with skeet markings when they refinished it in the 70's.They had the correct stamps apparently.

That would have been DelGrego’s shop. I have seen several Parkers of various grades that were “upgraded” to “Skeet Gun” configuration but a lot of them were double trigger extractor guns without the reinforced forend lug but had the ‘appropriate’ Skeet stamps.

Somebody here once posted that DelGrego & Son turned out more Parker "Skeet" guns than Parker/Remington ever made.

Yup, parker skeet guns are like 32 fords. More pit there than were originally made.
