beatiful SBT - For those in the know - I didnt realize the variation of engraving on the SBT's. Two pictures below are btoh SC grade. Is this early gun / later gun ? engravers preference ? Top one looks like a lot more work.

If you don’t mind me asking would you post the serial number. Your gun was one of the earliest SBT’s produced. It may even be the first one.

It’s not the first one but it is late in production of guns with the original trigger plate engraving. I don’t know if we ever tried to determine the highest serial with such engraving. Check your guns gents and see if you have a later serial number than John’s gun.
