I have a nice, all original 28" Trojan 20 ga. that is quail Kryptonite!
IMO, the Trojan is the gloriously unsophisticated sleeper of the shotgun world.
Elegance in simplicity, with the lethality of it's bore, and payload.
Easy to carry, and handles like a cue-stick. Doesn't need engraving to bag birds.

So very true and well said i hunt with all grades of firearms that i own as Parker's a G grade and a P grade are the highest levels that i have
I do have a couple of custom rifles with gorgeous wood on them and they go out to the field

I found a plain Jane 30" 11/2 frame VH like that. Was told the owner just thought they should have a gun in the house. Sat in a closet it's whole life.

And if you remember Edgar, I had that Grade-1 16 gauge T/A hammer gun that was deemed by expert collectors to be unfired.

Bore dia both bbl's .617
Left bbl .590 = 27" @ the muzzle
right bbl 597 = 19" @ the muzzle
i like those fairly tight that's great for my style of hunting
