Dylan is correct. This gun sold last month and obviously was returned due to the sleeved barrels. The seller did not list it as sleeved until the second to last day of that auction. Then he added the part about it having been sleeved. Now he relists it and once again does not admit that the barrels are not original. Not only that, he claims in his description that they are properly marked Titanic and yet shows a clear picture of the rib with no inscription on it. He has some serious honesty issues. :)

There is a rib inscription. However, the value of the gun has been passed in the bidding. I don't look for it to go any higher. Who is less informed on Parkers, the sellers or the buyers?

This gun was previously listed with no disclosure of being sleeved. The bidding was up to over $3k. A friend of mine contacted them and told them it was sleeved, they denied it and said that is how it was built. I then contacted them and told them the same thing. They told me that all SxS guns were sleeved and they went on with some BS description on how SxS barrels are made. I told them it was not how Parkers are made and the gun was originally a 12g gun (evidenced by the 1 frame) and it was sleeved to 20g.
They then finally adjusted the description, and a few bids were promptly retracted. I did not pay any attention to what happened with the listing after that.

Now it is listed again… and again with no mention, that I can find in their long verbiage of bullshit, that it is a sleeved gun. I just contacted them again asking why it is not disclosed.

I would suggest everyone contacting them questioning them about it.

I looked at that seller's site last year. I think they know much more about handguns and AR-type rifles and just 'wing-it' on the older models. Probably use AI to get their questions answered.

What does the Serialization book state about 132783? With a 1-frame, what gauge did it start life as? The K in the barrel steel mark location on the barrel flat is consistent with Titanic Steel in that era.

It is not in the book. But being a 1 frame the safest assumption would be 12 of course. Maybe 16.
