This has been brought to my attention this evening talking to a fellow hunter that I was not aware of and think it is important that fellow hunters and sporting dog enthusiasts are informed.Apparently the animal rights activists groups are trying to push a bill through congress attached to the new farm bill to stop greyhound racing,not using any birds or other animals for training purposes or using dogs for hunting any animals possibly.I do farm,and I hunt and I hunt with dogs.I do plan to continue hunting with dogs.I thought this to be important to this group as it would affect many of us.Might want to check into it and contact your congressmen. I hope I'm not out of line posting this here,but I thought important that every sportsman be aware.Jeff Sweeter

Write your congress people. Most of the larger hunting/Dog training organizations have letters and links to your elected officials.

Not good. The wording is vague with the intention of honing in on what is being attacked once it's too late. Hunting and the training of dogs using live game has been discussed. A bill to be taken seriously. Write, write and write. T
