I was rummaging through a box of items and found my old Club pin. Brought back great memories of friends , family, outstanding shoots and hunts. First time I ever shot a Parker...belonged to my dad...I wish I remember its specifics. All i can remember was it had a strait stock, ejectors, I think a beaver tail and fit me like a glove. He traded it some years later.

Anyone else ever shoot there?

Yes Kev, many times. It was a hoot to sit in the presidents chair and sleep and dine in the same rooms that many famous people did. At the time your father-in-law and I would go there with Ed Isaacs and I was the only guy shooting one of those "outdated technology" guns. (as per J.A. Grady). Would love to do it all over again now that I can afford it more.:) I've got one of those pins somewhere, have to dig it up.

Daryl, I know for a fact that the Parker I shot didn't have Damascus barrels. ;-). I am digging through pictures now trying to get a picture of it.

Don't feel bad Kev, neither did I shoot a damascus gun but that was before I knew you could. Would'nt it be neat to do it all over again?

Certainly would be different... Hammer guns and BP.

Would'nt that blow their minds? Grady would be apoplectic.

Woodmont is one of few places where driven turkeys are shot, explaining the theme of the pin. I have never shot there, thinking I had to know someone way above my pay grade.
