Joe, That's interesting that Larry told you that. My gun was made well before Remington owned the Parker name. It was originally a VHE 28 gauge, with 30" barrels. It was upgraded by them, and engraved by Robert 'Bob' Runge to a CHE, so I seriously doubt they were barrels they bought from Remington (they have the stamped legend as would be correct for a Meriden gun). The gun was originally straight stocked, but the present straight stock is of DelGrego origin, and is stamped in the tang channel, LDG '60 (the year may not be correct, I'm going from memory, from what Brian Dudley told me).
