From where I sit it looks like the exterrior walls of the tubes at the muzzle are touching quite nicely.

I have a 20 gauge with the Overload stamp and serial number 233073. I only mention because you said the earliest you had was the 236xxx range with the overload stamp. I don't know if this is helpful.
