I have two 12b. HJ Hussey Sidelock Imperials circa 1907. Up there with the best English names in terms of overall quality, fit and finish. Both guns weight ~ 6-lb, 3-oz. and are perfectly balanced.

Well it's not English, if you talk to the Scot's, but I have a Mckay Brown 16 ga and a 20 ga. The 20 ga I bought this summer was unfired, well that got fixed
and the 16 I just love, IM and Mod, 27" barrels perfect......

My one and only English gun is a 12-ga. back-action J. Blanch & Son sidelever hammergun, 30" damascus barrels, choked .010/.028, SG, SPL w/heel and toe plates. 6 lbs. 8 oz. Built in London c.1888.
