Anybody have English or German sxs?

I have a C.G. Bonehill sidelock ejector gun that I love. Built in Birmingham circa 1931. It was probably built as a fowler. It is a 12 ga.,has original 2 3/4" chambers, 30" barrels choked Mod. and Full. Minimum barrel wall thickness .035 right tube .040 left tube. The gun weighs 7 lbs. 4 oz. and makes a great clays gun for SXS shoots as well as a cool pheasant gun with RST spreaders in the mod. tube.

I don't know, if I could find a good vierling, I think id discard my 28gauge Parker in a heartbeat, they are tough to come by though.

Haha I'm still working on killing them with a 12...so attempting to kill a turkey with a 28 is along way off.

Why grab a 10 over a 12? For what game and details please, sounds interesting.

I have two 12b. HJ Hussey Sidelock Imperials circa 1907. Up there with the best English names in terms of overall quality, fit and finish. Both guns weight ~ 6-lb, 3-oz. and are perfectly balanced.

Well it's not English, if you talk to the Scot's, but I have a Mckay Brown 16 ga and a 20 ga. The 20 ga I bought this summer was unfired, well that got fixed and the 16 I just love, IM and Mod, 27" barrels perfect......

My one and only English gun is a 12-ga. back-action J. Blanch & Son sidelever hammergun, 30" damascus barrels, choked .010/.028, SG, SPL w/heel and toe plates. 6 lbs. 8 oz. Built in London c.1888.
