Charlie how long do you have to cook those Dr. Pepper cans to make them tender enough to eat? I tried boiling clay pigeons but after 5-6 hours they were still too tough so I just shot at them. I don't know of another use for the darn things. Years ago there was a contraption that I believe used a .22 blank cartridge to propel a pop can into the air so it could be shot at. I haven't seen one in years though. I don't think it ever was a big seller.
