I think I figured it out.

Steve,
What is the "shading" on the left barrel above the forend? I did not notice this on the small phone screen. Bob Jurewicz |

Nice gun. No one has tried to 'freshen' it up.

He sent me some photos and I told him if he likes it and it fits him to buy it, the price didn't seem out of line. Also, I checked the book it all matches up with original length barrels, he did check that all serial numbers match. Sometimes that's all we can do. Looks like a nice Parker.

I sent you an email Mr. Gray.
My philosophy on smallbores in good condition is "you don't pay too much, you just paid it early". Smallbore shotguns in decent condition have always held their own in the market. |

You never pay too much for a gun you love. If you can afford it, market value be damned. JMO

Well if all works out it will check alot boxes for me.
1. First Parker 2. Sub gauge 3. Light weight 4. Ejectors 5. Fine American made shotgun. |
My advice is jump on it already if it’s checking those boxes. I’ve lost a lot of desired guns by overthinking or trying to penny pinch. Go in with a pocket full of dead presidents and make a deal.
