26” supposedly F&F . I’ve not measured them . And while I’ve not fired it at a flying object yet , what little I’ve handled it I think it feels better than the Winchester 23 Classic 28 gauge I had thirty years ago !

It's quite obvious...you just don't have enough guns!

I really really NEED an EH with factory 24” and another with factory 26” . A VHE 28 00 is in the I want real bad category . And a VHE 20 with 26” factory is seeming to be another “I want” item

Me too - a great 26" VH PG SFE HRBP 0-frame surfaced at our local gun show over the weekend at an asking price of $8900. It went home with the guy that brung it after numerous tire-kickers got done with it ....("Isn't the bird in the dog's mouth on the buttplate supposed to face to the left??.....).

I Agree, Dan. Those two words are mutually exclusive.

You are a brave man! Parker 28 gauge guns are few and far between, especially good solid ones like you have there. Personally I would use something else for shooting slugs! I have 2 of them and I baby them.

Default 28 gauge slugs

I'm a little braver than the other posters on your thread. I would like to participate in your tests. I have a cylinder bored 28 gauge Parker barrel and plenty of loading equipment and micrometers. If you are game, send me ten or so of your slugs and I will share the results with you. Bill Murphy 22821 Wildcat (yes, Wildcat) Road, Gaithersburg, MD 20882

While I certainly don’t disagree with you , the mold was ordered expressly for this gun . But tomorrow I’ll see how the fit is .
