Please refrain from the dumpster fire Robert Johnson created and could not put out on Guns International. I was hoping for updated info. If 2002 is it, I run with that.

Hello All,
After extensive searching and researching, it appears I am the care taker of the 87th known 1/2 frame Parker. A GHE 2 barrel set, 26" and 28". Produced in October of 1941. Unfortunately the 26" barrels are junk at this point. Possible sleeving candidate. The cosmoline still covered the wood, barrels need reblue and extensive cleaning finished. Currently in the process of refinishing the wood. Gun action and mechanics are very tight, like unreal tight! My assumption is the 26" barrels were catastrophically damaged and the gun was stored in a case in a basement for the last 50-60 years. Bores are mirrors in both sets with a very very small amount of surface rust evident at the ends. #242249 will burn some powder soon....
