Default Saved one from the parts bin.

Between myself and another member we successfully saved this 11ga lifter I have posted about before from the bin. They performed the stock refinish and I did my best amateur checkering job. Unfortunately there are no before pictures, but here are the afters and some in process.

The job is not perfect but no harm could be done since the proper answer would have been to restock, may as well give it a go.

A tip on your checkering, on a point pattern, do not cut in the whole outline first. Work up to your termination lines from the master lines.

Thanks Brian,

The top of the wrist is a bit messy as well. I believe I made the mistake of cutting master lines on each side and trying to have them meet. Didn’t work out so well in reality….
