Well I do love bourbon, but like a good wine also Megan and I have been making some wine to restock our cellar, She has a small business that teaches folks how to make your own wine, cheekywinesllc.com It is really top shelf with many varieties there I put a plug in for her! some of the membership have tasted them. gary

Allen, Glenmorangie IS a Highland scotch. The peaty, smoky scotches you describe, like Lagavulin and Lafroig, are Islay scotches. Much as I like scotch whisky, you will find no Islay scotches in my home. They remind me of my teen years, siphoning gasoline by mouth.

Agreed Bill. If there is a shoot in June at Ernies I am going to bring along that Lagavulin in the hopes that someone will drink/take it. If not I will share it with you Gents as bore cleaner.
