The picayune reason is simply that the narrow minded objectors foresaw lost revenue from research letters. This is infinitesimally unlikely, as it would have required a living owner of one of those guns to see it on the PGCA site, and copy it as a satisfactory replacement to a real letter from their ASSociation.
Some people have nothing better to do than exercise their barely measurable authority.

I quess I am missing something, but, on what basis or for what good rational reason would there be objection to posting that info??

The reason I asked for Parker owners of guns exibited in the 1915 Pan-Am Exposition is that I had something to offer them to go with their gun’s display.

Dean a letter came with the Fox stating it was an exhibition gun and it is on James's list.Bobby
