Have you ever done something that wakes you up at night? I sold a CHE 16 with 28" barrels, straight stock, DT, SSBP for $6,000 about 30 years ago.

I can't speak to the originality, but that is one fine looking gun. Negotiate a price that you feel comfortable with, and go for it.

If Jaquas still has the gun, my experience with them over 35 years is that they very rarely negotiate. They set a price and stick to it.

In my experience with Jaqua's, if the gun is consigned to them, they will contact the seller if a serious offer is made. In my opinion, the price they put on guns which they own is generally a fair price
