The book is a great starting point but the info. is not written in stone ! I have a VH 20 that is in fact listed in the book as a 28 ,all numbers match and the rib is marked Vulcan steel ,I am confident it wears the barrels it left Meriden with ! Another was a CH Grade 12 Ga. ,the book listed the gun with 30" Barrels and the Barrels were 32 " and the letter on the gun said 32 " ! Would the seller take the gun back if you weren't pleased or if it isn't right ? Russ

After carefully reviewing my wallet, I don't think I can do this and get it put right at this time. 2 collage age kids and another starting in 2 years.

I do however want this to go somewhere good and my freind with the gun needs to sell.

Thanks again for all who helped me. I am sure I will become a member but it will most likely be for a trojan, V or G of another gauge for starters.

Would it be appropriate to post his contact information here? He advises it is ok with him.

Are the barrels on the gun real Remington era Parker barrels? Or, ar they Atlas barrels? From the Atlas 1966 catalogue --

I am unsure. Yesterday the seller talked with DelGregos and they asked him a lot of questions that were very specific. He said that they were of the opinion that he likely had a Remington era rebarrel. Could not be certain without actually seeing it. The seller could likely answer questions with the gun in hand.

The rib does look true, just no markings.
