Hi Unregistered,
On July 29th, this site will be moving..! No, really - it's "moving" to another physical location - including servers, gateways, routers - everything - including my coffee cup...
So, from the date of July 29th through July 30 or 31 (shooting for these dates, but - as always, I'm at the mercy of my ISP who has to install the lines to the new location - and we actually get them running ;) ). But - this site, cloud servers and main web will be OFF LINE.
Now, please save these dates!! Please - don't be "that guy" who emails me on the 30th to tell me you "can't open the Parker Website". I'll already know it is offline - and also know that you are "that guy"...
I'll take this notice up and down over the next week or so - and leave it up during the final few days before shutting it off on the 29th..
John D.

5 frame lifter 10ga restoration progress
When it is finished I will post up the before and after pics...I figured (no pun intended) the wood was nice but this piece of walnut is way beyond my expectations. Little too much glare off the action, sorry.
If someone has some good pictures of grade 2 checkering (both sides of the wrist and the forearm) of a pistol grip stock of this era please post them up or send them to me at shootnfowl@yahoo.com, thanks in advance.

That sure is a beauty. When I re-did the stock on my 0 frame 20 hammer Parker the stocker wanted a template for the checkering. I took yellow masking/packing tape and went over the checkering I wanted with a pencil. If you like I will do the same on my 2 frame 10 gauge lifter with the same grip as yours and send it to you.
