The “P” stamped Parker-made laminated barrels have a very distinctive pattern. It’s unlike other laminated patterns. If you look at examples of the Dan Wesson shotgun barrels, it’s obvious; same pattern, same maker, John Blaze.
When Dan Wesson gave up making shotguns, Blaze went to work for Parker. If he could forge laminated tubes, he could certainly forge twist tubes. I can’t prove it, but it seems likely that the “M” were his as well as the “P” stamps. Timeline fits and those two patterns are unlike any others.
